In this role you will serve as Engineer of Record and Project Manager within our Municipal Division, delivering a variety of projects for our Municipal clients. It has the most temperate climate in Canada, with less rain and more sun than other West Coast cities.What You’ll DoLead detailed designs and production of engineering drawings and specifications for Municipal Engineering, meeting all client and approval agency requirements.Coordinate, produce and seal detailed design drawings, calculations, reports, construction cost estimates, tender documents and contracts.Chair regular project meetings with clients and internal staff.Develop new business and establish strategic relationships with key clients, agencies and partners.Coordinate with other team members and monitor project progress to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved.Provide leadership in safety and quality management practices.Prepare and submit superior proposals.Generate invoices for clients and track them against agreed budgets.Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.What You’ll BringA degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with strong technical skills and 5–15 years of related experience.Registration in good standing as a P.Eng. in BC or ability to obtain registration through existing inter‑jurisdictional agreements.Knowledge of MMCD and Construction Administration experience is an asset.Proven ability to attract and retain clients, win projects and consistently deliver high‑quality deliverables on time and on budget.Demonstrated business development skills.An aptitude for leadership, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and relationship building.What Can We Offer You? The salary range for this position is $93,000–$135,000 per annum. Compensation is commensurate with education, experience and skills.
