Contract Position - Hybrid Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting. The role also includes performing a variety of financial accounting activities.Hours of work are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Occasional pre‑authorized overtime may be required to meet business and client needs. This is a hybrid role, with in‑office attendance required on an as‑needed basis.This position is a 12‑month contract opportunity.Primary Responsibilities Financial Planning and AnalysisProvide regular and ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting support to the Regional Management Team, departments, and practice groupsDevelop and enhance financial models, reports, and dashboards using PowerBI and other reporting tools to deliver insights on profitability and key performance metricsParticipate in the preparation of annual forecasts, budgets, and multi‑year plansAnalyze, interpret, and communicate monthly budget variances and actual results to managementProvide statistical and financial information to internal clients on a regular and ad‑hoc basisPartner with Finance and business stakeholders to support accurate, timely, and aligned forecasting and budgeting processesAccountingParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPerform account analysis, reconciliations, and post adjustments or reclassifications as requiredMaintain and reconcile schedules for a variety of accountsPost monthly, quarterly, and year‑end journal entries and accrualsVerify cost allocations in accordance with Firm proceduresAssist with the preparation of financial statementsSupport the annual external audit processOtherSupport initiatives and projects aimed at continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost savingsSupport the rollout, training, and ongoing use of financial dashboards and reporting toolsPerform other related duties as assigned to meet operational requirementsRequired Knowledge and ExperiencePost‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related business disciplineCPA designation required, with a minimum of two years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis at a senior accounting level (5-7 years total experience)Experience analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements, budgets, and forecastsExperience with 3E, PowerBI, or Elite Enterprise is considered an assetAdvanced Excel knowledge and strong financial modeling skillsSound understanding of GAAP / ASPEProficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer software applicationsPay Range $85,000 to $100,000 per annum.
