We are seeking a Portfolio Manager - Operations to support the administration of insurance and reinsurance accounts and contracts within a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in Toronto, focused on managing contractual data, processing accounts and claims, supporting underwriting activities, and ensuring accurate financial and operational execution across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update contractual data within accounting and underwriting systemsAccurately enter and validate Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and flag discrepanciesProcess accounts, claim advice, and resolve discrepancies with stakeholdersManage cash flow activities including payments, balances, and account setupPerform internal control checks (ICS) and support compliance requirementsMonitor account performance and generate reports and data analysisEnsure proper documentation and record management within internal systemsCollaborate with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams on daily operationsSupport audit requirements and maintain compliance with regulatory standardsMust-Have RequirementsExperience in insurance/reinsurance accounting, underwriting support, or controllingStrong Excel skills (including Power Query)Solid understanding of financial processes, accounts, and cash flow managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsNice-to-HaveExperience with Business Objects, Power BI, or TableauExposure to insurance/reinsurance systems and processesKnowledge of compliance, sanctions, or regulatory requirementsEducation Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in business, finance, or insurance-related field).#J-18808-Ljbffr
