Lawrence Harvey is partnered with a SaaS company that's growing in the semiconductor space. Their security team is growing and we’re looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to help shape and scale security across a modern, cloud-first environment. This individual will play a key role in protecting infrastructure, improving detection and response capabilities, and embedding security into the development lifecycle from the ground up. What You’ll Do Architect and manage security measures across cloud environments, with a focus on AWS and containerized workloads Oversee identity and access controls, secure networking configurations, and secrets handling practices Evaluate and provide guidance on the security posture of new systems, services, and infrastructure updates Detection, Response & Operations Create and refine procedures for identifying and responding to security events Take ownership of investigating incidents, coordinating response efforts, and driving post-event analysis Expand visibility across systems by implementing monitoring, alerting, and detection mechanisms Partner with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows Develop reusable patterns, templates, and guardrails that make secure development the default Support adoption of self-service security tooling to enable developer velocity without compromising safety What You Bring 4+ years working in security engineering or a closely related discipline Deep familiarity with cloud environments (AWS strongly preferred), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and identity/access management principles Proven experience handling security incidents and building detection and response capabilities Track record of integrating security into development pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners Nice to Have Exposure to compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth environments Programming or scripting experience in languages like Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript Familiarity with internal/corporate security controls such as endpoint security, SSO, and multi-factor authentication Why Join Opportunity to define and build security foundations from an early stage Work within a highly technical environment spanning AI, hardware innovation, and developer tooling Cloud-native architecture with modern tooling and strong engineering culture Competitive salary and equity participation High-impact role with visibility across the organization Collaborative team of experienced builders, researchers, and operators Please note: The client cannot transfer visas at this time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
