Overview Fraser Health requires two full-time (2 x 1.0 FTE) palliative care physicians to provide clinical service along with a multidisciplinary team located in Surrey, BC. You will work alongside other palliative care physicians and nurse practitioners to provide Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage in our Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and consultation services to acute care and community-based patients. Responsibilities Provide clinical service as part of the multidisciplinary palliative care team in Surrey. Deliver Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage in the Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and offer consultation services to acute care and community-based patients. Collaborate with other palliative care physicians and nurse practitioners to support palliative care across Fraser Health facilities. Qualifications One year enhanced skills residency and the Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Two year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine. CCFP (PC), CPSBC Full, FRCPC. Locations Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, BC (the largest of Fraser Health’s regional hospitals in the network). Compensation Remuneration is by service contract, with a rate set provincially by the Ministry of Health. Benefits include Alternative Payment Plan and on-call payments. May be eligible for up to $10,000 relocation reimbursement (MOCAP - On Call Payments).
