Position: Sterile Manufacturing Production Supervisor. Purpose of the Job Manage production processes and production projects within sterile manufacturing areas. This includes managing daily schedules in accordance with planning and quality requirements, supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives, and implementing new products while ensuring aseptic conduct principles are respected at all times through training, coaching, and continual monitoring. Key Accountabilities People Management Manage and motivate the team to achieve objectives and implement required action plans. Ensure effective communication with support functions such as Quality, Engineering, and Product Development. Manage training plans and training requirements (OJT, SOPs, training materials). Train and coach staff on aseptic conduct. Ensure that aseptic conduct principles are respected in classified areas at all times. Production Operations Participate in production scheduling and ensure efficient execution. Implement and manage KPIs (exceptions, rejects, on‑time deliveries, machine breakdowns). Ensure equipment readiness and compliance with preventive maintenance and calibration. Manage priorities to meet organizational and team goals. Support Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support new product implementation, shutdown activities, and introduction of new equipment or processes. Review production documentation and prepare investigation reports when required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Quality Operations Ensure operations comply with SOPs and cGMP requirements. Train employees on SOPs and incident management; maintain training records. Write and update SOPs and MBRs. Initiate incident reports and draft investigation reports. Participate in self‑inspections and follow up on corrective actions. Act as SME during audits for the sector. Management Act as backup for Production Supervisor as needed. Serve as point of contact with other supervisors. Act as backup to the Sterile Manufacturing Manager. Health & Safety Apply health and safety rules and regulations. Encourage safe work practices and behaviors. Classification Location: Kirkland (West Island), Qc. — On Site, Full‑Time. Compensation & Benefits Hiring wage: $88,000‑129,000 + 10% annually depending on experience, with opportunities for growth, promotion and annual raises. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent combination of education and experience recognized by the quality unit. Education in microbiology (required). Experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing (topical products, injectable vials and ampoules, preferably). Minimum 5‑8 years of supervisory experience in a similar setting. Proficiency in computer applications and software; Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (advantage); process improvement, blue‑belt (advantage); SAP or other ERP systems. Fluency in French and English.
