What you will do: Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and mentor a team of virtual financial planners and advisor support roles to achieve sales, productivity, and compliance targets. Provide consistent and exceptional communication to the Service team, celebrating successes, identifying opportunities for improvement, sharing relevant information, job aids and training in a timely manner to equip the team to serve Members and prospects and support each other. Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill development plans. Foster a culture of high performance, client‑centricity, and continuous improvement. Partner with People and Culture to recruit and onboard top advisory talent and support individuals on your team. Sales Management & Business Growth Drive mutual fund sales, financial planning adoption, and Member conversion through virtual channels. Set team targets, develop sales strategies, and monitor performance using data‑driven reporting. Collaborate with Marketing and Distribution teams to optimize lead flow, segmentation, and campaign effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve digital sales processes, tools, and Member engagement models. Financial Planning & Advice Oversight Ensure financial plans delivered by advisors are high‑quality, compliant, and tailored to client needs. Enhance planning frameworks, tools, and best practices to support advisor effectiveness. Monitor the mix of planning vs. advice‑only interactions and optimize capacity planning. Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements (KYC, suitability, disclosure standards). Conduct regular quality audits of financial plans and advice delivery. Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to manage audit findings, mitigate risks, and ensure best practices. Ensure compliance requirements are met by using available resources, information appropriately, and collaborating with appropriate partners and SMEs across the organization. Stakeholder Management & Reporting Produce and/or review senior leadership reporting on sales performance, pipeline, productivity, client feedback, and capacity metrics. Engage cross‑functional partners to improve the end‑to‑end virtual advice experience. Support strategic initiatives in Wealth Distribution, including product launches, digital transformation, and experience enhancement. Utilize reporting to identify trends, analyze data, and make recommendations to senior leadership. Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring employees understand and support them. Collaborate with peers, wealth, business banking, and retail delivery teams to share best practices and implement campaign support or new business opportunities for our remote teams. Member Excellence Ensure the team effectively spots opportunities that improve Member financial well‑being and utilizes standard referral protocols. Improve delivery of best advice and sales with Members, as well as operational efficiency in all channels. Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for inbound, off‑phone and outbound business requirements. Provide a seamless and consistent Member experience across all channels by supporting digital processes. How you will succeed: 7+ years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or investment sales. 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing advisors or sales teams. University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (required). Strong understanding of mutual funds, financial planning frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Mutual Fund License in current good standing. Strong financial service product and compliance knowledge. Demonstrated success in driving sales results through coaching and analytics. Skilled in digital sales tools, CRM systems, and virtual client engagement with extensive knowledge of CRM and banking systems. Proficiency in MS Office applications and AI tools such as Copilot. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem‑solve and effectively manage in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Proven ability to create, analyze, and story‑tell from reporting and analytics. Salary Range CAD $110,000 – $125,000 Location Hybrid.
