Our success is built on technical expertise, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to service excellence.As part of our continued growth, Soltex is seeking an Account Manager to support expansion in Canada, with a focus on transformer oils and dielectric fluids.Position Summary The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across Canada and the Northeast United States within the transformer oil, dielectric fluids and Soltex markets. This remote, field-based role is suited to a self-motivated sales professional who excels at developing technical credibility, identifying new opportunities, and delivering consistent results. The position offers strong internal support, representation of a respected industry brand, and long-term growth potential within a strategic territory.Territory Coverage The territory includes Canada and the Northeast United States, with primary emphasis on Ontario and Quebec. Candidates must reside within the core customer region and be able to travel regularly to customer sites and the Belleville, Ontario production facility.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow assigned accounts to achieve sales and business plan objectivesIdentify and develop new business opportunities, applications, and market segmentsBuild and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makersPromote Soltex''s product portfolio, with emphasis on transformer oils and dielectric fluidsMonitor customer needs, market trends, pricing, and competitive activityMaintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and account documentationAnalyze sales performance and adjust strategies to meet territory goalsConduct regular customer meetings to review performance and expand share of walletCollaborate with internal sales, technical, and customer service teamsRepresent Soltex at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as requiredEnsure compliance with company policies related to forecasting, credit, expenses, and ethicsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree required, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred3-5 years of experience in the chemical and/or transformer and dielectric industry, with preference for experience in: Transformer oilsDielectric fluidsLubricants or specialty fluidsStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skillsProven ability to manage a territory, prioritize accounts, and meet sales objectivesComfortable working independently in a remote, field-based environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptable to new systemsPhysical & Travel RequirementsFrequent travel throughout the assigned territoryAbility to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds as requiredReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions#J-18808-Ljbffr
