As a Customer Order Management Specialist, you will be the single point of contact for our customers, ensuring that every post-order interaction is smooth and positive. You will play a key role in coordinating processes from order to shipping, anticipating customer needs and ensuring a quality experience. This position will enable you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in projects that support reliability and innovation in the energy sector. How you’ll make an impact Ensure complete management of orders and acknowledgements of receipt. Coordinate communication between the customer and the internal teams (production, quality, engineering, shipping, service). Maintain accurate and confidential customer records in management systems. Track orders, changes and cancellations, proactively communicating updates. Quickly identify and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams. Prepare and send invoices, manage payments and resolve disputes. Manage customer feedback. Analyze data to produce reports on performance indicators. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines. Your Background Must already have a work permit to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada. College degree in administration or equivalent training. Minimum 3 to 5 years of customer service experience (manufacturing environment – an asset). Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Excel and SAP (strengths). A keen sense of organization, prioritization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Team spirit and ability to maintain positive professional relationships.
