Job Description This senior, visible role is within the Environmental Group and offers opportunity to lead complex infrastructure and municipal projects. The role requires technical leadership, client engagement, and shaping project outcomes. Responsibilities Partner with clients to understand needs and deliver practical, value-driven solutions. Lead and shape scopes of work for public and private clients on small‑to‑large scale infrastructure projects. Manage and execute hydrogeological studies, including: Groundwater resource development Construction dewatering programs Pump test design, analysis, and interpretation Geothermal system assessments Sewer discharge agreements Permit to Take Water (PTTW) applications Project management and coordination of site investigation and compliance programs. Budget oversight, cost control, and invoicing. Coordinate and supervise field programs. Review and guide the technical work of junior and intermediate staff. Prepare and review high-quality technical reports. Support proposal development and contribute to business growth. Qualifications University degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or related discipline (Master’s degree is an asset). 10+ years of experience in physical hydrogeology. Strong field-based experience in groundwater supply, hydrogeological investigations, and assessments. Professional designation in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) preferred. Experience with ESA, excess soil or geology, and ability to speak French considered assets. Experience with groundwater modelling is an asset. Proven success developing client relationships and contributing to winning proposals. Hands‑on experience with MECP, municipalities, and Conservation Authorities. Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery. Strong business acumen and a practical, solution-focused mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Experience leading, mentoring, and developing junior staff. Comfortable operating in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
