Sales and Leasing Coordinator - Mixed Income Overview This position may also be known as Occupancy Specialist, or Housing Coordinator Reporting to the Leasing Enablement Lead, the Sales and Leasing Coordinator supports Silvera’s mixed-income housing operations by guiding prospective residents through the sales and leasing process. This role provides exceptional customer service while managing applications, conducting assessments, coordinating tours, and supporting strong occupancy and waitlist outcomes. Coordinators must be adaptable, engaging in inquiry management, lead nurturing and leasing activities to meet business needs effectively. Responsibilities Deliver professional, consistent customer service aligned with Silvera’s service vision. Respond to housing inquiries and efficiently guide applicants through the application process. Pre‑qualify and assess prospective residents based on health, financial eligibility, and housing needs. Conduct phone interviews, intake meetings (virtual or in person), tours, and landlord reference checks. Review and process applications for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Offer housing and promote Silvera services when appropriate and eligible. Maintain accurate digital records, waitlists, and reports using Yardi Senior CRM IQ or related systems. Participate in outreach events and identify opportunities for process improvements. Provide coverage and support to other Sales & Leasing Coordinators as required. Other duties as assigned in accordance with business needs. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales (senior housing an asset). Post‑secondary education preferred (degree or technical certification an asset). Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM (80+ preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; Yardi, CRM, or Rent Café experience an asset. Knowledge of relevant legislation (FOIP, SLALA, PPCA, SHAR ). Valid Alberta Driver’s License and reliable transportation. COVID‑19 vaccination or willingness to comply with organizational requirements. Full‑time Work Conditions Flexible work location across Silvera communities (Westview Town Suites as home base).
