B’nai Brith Canada Location:Toronto (Head Office) Salary:$110,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience Reports to:CEOAbout the role B’nai Brith Canada is seeking a senior, strategic, and results-oriented National Director of Fundraising to lead and grow all fundraising activity across the organization.This role provides national leadership for fundraising strategy, planning, and execution. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and regional teams, the National Director will ensure that fundraising efforts are coordinated, effective, and positioned for sustained growth. While fundraising activity may take place across different parts of the organization, this role serves as the central point of leadership, alignment, and performance oversight.The successful candidate will bring both strategic clarity and hands‑on execution, with the ability to build strong relationships, drive revenue, and establish a disciplined and scalable fundraising function.Key responsibilities National fundraising strategy and leadershipDevelop and implement a comprehensive national fundraising strategy aligned with organizational prioritiesEstablish annual and multi-year revenue goals across all fundraising streamsProvide leadership, coordination, and direction across all fundraising activity nationallyMonitor performance and adjust strategy to ensure consistent progress toward targetsReport regularly to the CEO and senior leadership on performance, pipeline, and opportunitiesLead and grow all revenue streams, including:Major giftsCorporate partnerships and sponsorshipsFoundations and grantsAnnual and digital givingEvents and community-based fundraisingPlanned and legacy giving (as appropriate)Work across internal teams, and lead as appropriate, to secure sponsorships and other support for organizational initiatives, including sports leagues, thrift store operations, clothing bin programs, and food bank initiativesPersonally manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and high‑potential prospectsSupport senior leadership in donor cultivation and solicitationIdentify and develop new funding opportunities and donor segmentsEvents, galas, and campaignsOversee the strategy and execution of fundraising events, including galas, golf tournaments, fundraising events and national campaignsWork with internal teams and external partners to elevate the quality, reach, and financial performance of eventsIntegrate events into broader donor development and stewardship strategiesRelationship development and network buildingLeverage and expand a strong network of philanthropic, corporate, and community relationshipsBring an established base of connections and the ability to open doors and create new opportunitiesRepresent the organization externally with credibility and professionalismBuild long‑term relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders grounded in trust and impactOrganizational integrationWork closely with marketing, communications, advocacy, and program teams to align messaging and fundraising opportunitiesTranslate organizational priorities and impact into compelling fundraising casesEnsure consistency in donor experience and messaging across all channelsSystems, reporting, and operationsOversee the use and optimization of the organization’s CRM system (DonorPerfect)Prepare impact reports and stewardship materials for donor relations, sponsor engagement, and broader marketing useEnsure accurate tracking of donor activity, pipeline development, and revenue performanceEstablish clear reporting structures and dashboards for leadership and Board‑level visibilityImplement and maintain best practices in data management, stewardship tracking, and donor communicationsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulatory and ethical fundraising standardsTeam development and future growthBuild and shape the fundraising function over time, including identifying future staffing needsProvide leadership and direction to any future fundraising staffWork effectively with regional teams, volunteers, and committees to support fundraising efforts while maintaining overall coordination and strategic alignmentQualifications and experience10+ years of senior fundraising leadership experienceDemonstrated success in securing major gifts and growing revenue across multiple channelsExperience overseeing events, galas, and large‑scale fundraising initiativesStrong familiarity with CRM systems;
