Mandate The General Manager will lead the strategic and operational performance of the Canadian manufacturing and commercial operations. This executive will oversee all aspects of operations, supply chain, and revenue generation—driving profitable growth while ensuring industry-leading product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role calls for a hands‑on, results‑oriented leader with strong manufacturing acumen and proven business development capability. The General Manager will work closely with the President, the global executive team, and regional plant and sales leaders to align Canadian performance with international standards and strategic vision. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire cross‑functional teams across manufacturing, sales, and service to achieve business objectives Translate corporate goals into actionable operational and commercial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer retention Champion a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration Contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team to long‑term strategic planning Sales & Business Development Oversee all sales and business development efforts across Canada, driving revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to expand presence in printing, converting, and adjacent industrial markets Mentor and support sales leadership in identifying new opportunities, pricing strategy, and key account management Build strong, enduring customer relationships and represent the organization at key industry events Operations Management Direct manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, and quality control to ensure operational excellence Optimize resource utilization, productivity, and cost control while maintaining exceptional quality standards Implement lean manufacturing, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all facilities Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to support revenue, cost, and margin improvement Ensure effective P&L management and accurate financial reporting Drive profitability through a disciplined balance of commercial growth and operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and/or industrial sales, including experience or exposure to P&L accountability Demonstrated success leading both plant operations and commercial/sales teams Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes (rubber, rollers, coatings, or printing-related experience is an asset) Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills Proven ability to drive strategic growth and operational improvements concurrently Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and a strong bias for action Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a performance‑driven environment Collaborative, transparent, and skilled at building trust across all levels of the organization Flexible, resilient, and customer‑focused, with high integrity and professional presence #J-18808-Ljbffr
