Reporting to the Senior Manager of Floor Planning, the Floor Planning Analyst serves as the primary owner of accurate planogram to floor plan assignments, ensuring that all stores have a current floor plan, relevant assortment, and correct planograms assigned at all times throughout the year. This position plays a key role in the Supply Chain organization, most closely with Space Planning, ensuring that all stores have accurate floor plans and timely inventory shipments, maintaining in‑stock availability. The role also coordinates the resolution of errors or corrections needed to keep floor plans up to date. It serves as a business partner to the floor planning system and process, working closely with multiple stakeholders. What you will do: Manage weekly assignments of planograms to store floor plans with accuracy and accountability, driving category strategy. Maintain floor plan versions throughout the lifecycle to drive accurate and timely updates. Assist with issue resolution, updates, and changes to store floor plans, always with the customer impact in mind. Maintain updated floorplan PDFs on open access. Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Analyze sales information and provide feedback to the business to assist in making fact‑based floor‑plan changes that are right for our stores and customers. Partner with Floor Planning Managers to ensure accurate analysis and recommendations. Audit, build and merchandise stores in Floor Planning as requested. Adhere to Loblaw space planning and category policies, processes, and procedures for floor‑planning updates. Provide reporting based on business requirements as needed. Be a culture ambassador, promoting trust, authenticity, and connections in everything you do, and living our CORE values. What you will need: Post‑secondary education in Business or merchandising. Two or more years’ experience in visual merchandising, store operations, retail environment, or planogram design/implementation. Strong data analytical skills, detail orientation, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. A strong and passionate team player. Strong computer skills, especially with Excel; experience with Microsoft Access or other database tools (e.g., SAP, SAS, Business Objects) preferred. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, for communicating with multiple levels of the organization.
