Senior Manager Cloud Engineering We are seeking a self-driven Senior Manager Cloud Engineering to plan and design technology solutions for client engagements. Your Key Responsibilities Enable, drive and lead initiatives focusing on establishing and embedding cloud architecture & design governance across the organization. Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Cloud Engineering market. Travel 30-40% to meet client needs. Lead initiatives for setting up cloud architecture & technology strategies, standards, governance and best practices. Manage expectations of client service delivery; stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to clients. Interface with clients daily at many levels. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget; monitor progress, manage risk, ensure key stakeholders are informed. Lead initiatives to identify right set of cloud technologies for specific solutions and drive the effort to templatize and automate those technologies at scale. Architect & design solutions for cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure) that are optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient, reliable and compliant with EY cloud standards and policies. Design strategies/tools to deploy, monitor, administer cloud applications and underlying services. Architect and implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as VSTS, Jira, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef. Build quick POCs and write code to explore new technology solutions. Skills And Attributes For Success Deep understanding of cloud computing, data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, deployment options (preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS). Expertise in defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable products/services including reusable domain-specific microservices on multi-platform/hybrid clouds. Deep understanding of application, infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects (performance, scalability, reliability, availability). Deep experience in IAAS (network and security fundamentals) and PAAS; good understanding of all Azure services and ability to select appropriate services. Strategic business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy; ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy. Strong expertise in DevOps, Agile, containers, CI/CD and tools such as VSTS, Jira. Experience with software and product development lifecycle (coding, standards, reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment, operations). Strong understanding of .NET technologies (C#) and Java / JavaScript. Familiarity with front-end/UI technologies such as React/Angular.js. REST/Web services experience with high performance, multi-tenancy, global scalability. SQL, XML, JSON, Linux, ELK stack, Splunk, Solr, GIT, Ant/Maven, Jenkins. Familiarity with data ingestion, analytics, AI technologies. To Qualify for the Role At least 5+ years of deep technology experience at very large enterprises or web scale product companies. At least 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation and/or support of highly distributed applications on cloud. Consulting experience is a plus. Experience in presenting ideas, papers, patents to varied audiences. Microsoft Azure related certifications; other cloud provider certifications (AWS, Google Cloud) are accepted.
