This role leads electrical site crews to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The Site Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for the Project Manager, subcontractors, and the client, and is accountable for timely and accurate crew timesheet submission.Key Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Oversee and coordinate all on-site electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standardsLead, supervise, and support electrical site crews, fostering productivity, accountability, and teamworkEnsure daily completion and submission of crew timesheetsAct as the primary liaison between the company, client representatives, subcontractors, and on-site personnelPromote a strong safety culture by leading by example and ensuring adherence to company safety policies and proceduresDocument and report all incidents and injuries, including completion of required reports and communication with the Safety ManagerCollaborate with the Project Manager to meet construction timelines through effective planning and use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipmentMonitor and maintain quality of workmanship in accordance with design documents and project requirementsMentor, train, and motivate crew members to support continuous improvement and safe work practicesCoordinate with the Project Manager and client to review, track, and resolve RFIs (Requests for Information) and COs (Change Orders)Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activitiesAdditional Information This position is designated as safety-sensitive making employment contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as well as criminal and general background checks.ScheduleSchedule rotations range from 4 days on / 3 days off, 8 days on / 6 days off, 10 days on / 4 days off, 21 days on / 7 days off, etc. (project dependent)Overtime paid at time and a half after 10 hours per day and 40 hours per weekOut-of-town work includes either all-inclusive camp accommodations or LOA and individual accommodations (project dependent)What We’re Looking ForDegree in Construction Management or a related field, or a Journeyperson PSE/Electrician designationValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record5–7 years of experience in the construction industryExperience in medium- to high-voltage substation construction is an assetWorking knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality management, and interpretation of engineering drawingsWillingness and ability to travel to project sites as requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation with weekly pay periodsOvertime opportunities (project dependent)Generous paid time offRRSP-DPSP employer matching, increasing with years of serviceComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and disability)Company-paid safety trainingAnnual PPE allowance provided for field-based employees (post-probation)Out-of-town work includes either all-inclusive camp accommodations or LOA and individual accommodations (project dependent)Travel time to and from site will be paid at base rate, and travel provided by employer (project dependent)Ongoing training, development, and career advancement opportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program (confidential counselling support)Employee Referral Bonus Program#J-18808-Ljbffr
