Overview Insight Global is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join the Digital Health team at a large Canadian retailer. This leadership role focuses on building innovative, accessible digital experiences that improve how Canadians manage their health. The designer will drive design vision, mentor peers, and lead cross-functional collaboration while guiding the design process end-to-end. Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr. 12 month contract + extensions. Pay: $40-50/hr. Responsibilities Lead discovery and goal-setting activities to define user problems and business objectives Guide interaction design efforts, creating user flows, wireframes, and service blueprints Produce high-fidelity visual designs that reflect product strategy and user needs Mentor designers and provide design feedback to elevate team output Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency Conduct and synthesize user research and post-launch analysis to inform iterations Apply inclusive design and accessibility principles to reach diverse users Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on feasibility, timelines, and product goals Present work and strategy clearly to stakeholders, facilitating feedback and buy-in across teams Qualifications Must have 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of user-centered digital experiences Experience in retail or healthcare industries Experience leading design initiatives and mentoring other designers in a collaborative team environment Strong proficiency in Figma for creating high-fidelity visual designs Experience applying interaction design principles: user flows, journey maps, wireframes Experience conducting and synthesizing user research using generative and evaluative methods Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and advocate for design Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated industries (nice to have) Familiarity with AODA requirements and inclusive design practices (nice to have) Experience with design systems and scalable pattern libraries (nice to have) Experience tracking product KPIs and using metrics to inform design iterations (nice to have) Experience managing or coaching designers or leading cross-functional product development (nice to have) Additional details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Contract Industry: Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
