About The Position Hazelview is seeking a Co-op Student to join our Real Estate Investment Management team. We actively invest in commercial real estate asset classes globally, with a strong focus on Canada and the United States. This role offers hands‑on exposure to real estate investing and is ideal for a student eager to gain experience in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will support the team across a range of initiatives while developing practical skills in analysis, research, and asset management.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Real Estate Investment Management team in evaluating potential acquisitions across North America, including assisting with property valuations, investment materials, and market research.Assist with due diligence processes during property acquisitions and support ongoing monitoring of investment performance.Contribute to asset management reporting requirements, including budgeting and periodic reporting.Conduct research on market fundamentals across various real estate asset classes.Provide support on ad‑hoc projects and assignments as required.Education and ExperienceCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Real Estate, Finance, or a related program.Previous internship or co‑op experience in real estate, finance or a related field is an asset but not required.Strong interest in real estate investing and financial analysis.QualificationsProficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Self‑motivated, proactive and eager to learn with a positive, "can-do" attitude.This co‑op position offers an hourly rate in the range of $20-$25, based on skills, experience and education.Hazelview Investments is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.
