About the Role As a Residence Advisor, you’ll live onsite at one of EF Vancouver’s student residences – acting as a key part of our Accommodation team. You’ll play a hands‑on role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for EF students living in residence. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, community driven, highly responsible, and thrives in multicultural environments. Position Details Live‑in, contracted position from May 12th to August 31st, 2026. Required to live on‑site from May 31st to August 31st, 2026. Hours of work: part‑time, 15–30 hours per week, 5 days per week. Compensation: $21/hr plus accommodation provided as part of the compensation package. Responsibilities Host weekly activities for students in residence Provide student support and welfare; be the first point of contact for student questions, concerns, or emergencies Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere through community‑building and personal support Ensure students are aware of and follow EF Residence Community Standards Act as a positive role model, mentor, and guide Conduct regular room and building inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and comfort Manage the residence emergency phone and respond to after‑hours incidents as needed Plan and lead residence‑based activities and outings in collaboration with the Activities Manager Create fun and engaging social media content to promote the residence Qualifications Experience within an ELL environment preferred Excellent communication skills, written and oral High attention to detail Fluency in English; additional language fluency preferred Proven track record of outstanding customer service Flexible, composure in fast‑paced environment High‑energy, initiative, troubleshooter, and prioritizer Personable, persuasive, strong influencer, ability to cultivate relationships Collegial attitude and ability to collaborate across teams and campuses Professionalism when dealing with EF suppliers and staff Professional relationship with students – personal relationships strictly prohibited Entitled to legally work in Canada for the duration of the position Ability to live onsite for the contracted term Equal Opportunity Employer EF is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to inclusion and belonging across race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, caste, parental status, identity, experience and everything else that makes you unique. #J-18808-Ljbffr
