Housekeeping Clerk – Responsibilities Ensure prompt handling of all guest requests and timely follow up. Assign room tasks to Room Attendants as required. Responsible for accurate tracking of lost and found items in the log, the tracking of all inquiries and timely shipment. Responsible for the sign in and out of all room keys and key inventory. Ensure the cleanliness of the Housekeeping office, back room and outside back recycling area. Report all maintenance deficiencies and follow through with repairs in rooms and surrounding areas. Maintaining room statuses at the end of the day and hourly updates of numbers and room statuses in cooperation with Supervisors throughout the day. Other duties as assigned. Starting Rate of Pay: $18.07/hr Qualifications Housekeeping experience required; candidates with housekeeping supervisory experience preferred. Computer knowledge of programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Property Manager, Royal Service Manager, and exceptional typing skills strongly preferred. Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
