We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to advise our Financial Services & Insurance customers on how to best adopt and leverage AWS technology. The role requires experience in the FSI industry, knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure, and a solid understanding of the transformative value of cloud technologies. Key Job Responsibilities Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud. Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the sales team. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to design solutions for successful deployment in the cloud. Contribute to AWS internal and customer‑facing publications such as white‑papers and blogs to scale knowledge. Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support to address customer needs. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics. 3+ years of design, implementation or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures. Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive‑level stakeholders or clients. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering). Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customer environments. Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals. Knowledge of large‑scale automation and workflow management or equivalent. Salary: Canada, ON, Toronto - 146,000.00 - 211,600.00 CAD annually. The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications and location.
