The Sr. Analyst HR Systems & Projects is responsible for providing ongoing administration, development and support of both the HR Information Systems and the related projects, as well as Global HR Program projects within MML. It plays a key role in HR Digitization by leading HR System projects and supporting divisional teams to ensure effective data quality & auditing, training and knowledge transfer on key concepts, and troubleshooting issues that arise in these systems and any downstream integration impacts. This role will collaborate with the Global MML HR Team, Sub-Groups, Divisional HR teams, and other groups including Magna Corporate HR to support the ongoing development, training and effective implementation of Magna HR Programs, HR Systems optimizations, and Communication Programs across the MML Group. Additionally, a focus of this role is the leveraging and effective use of technology to maximize HR program effectiveness – creating efficiencies within our systems, processes, programs, and teams, while also contributing to Global HR Projects. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 Annually Responsibilities GENERAL Acts as a group Subject Matter Expert for HR systems providing support, collaboration and communication to global HR team members to ensure data integrity and effective data management. Utilizes HR training and experience to advise on HR initiatives and projects, participating in or leading their development, configuration, and OCM. Manages Global HR Systems project implementation for MML, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across identified regions / locations to reach objectives. Works closely with Global IT, vendors and key stakeholders. Audits system data and notifies responsible persons of discrepancies and / or errors to improve data integrity. Drives HR Data Quality initiatives, supporting both the MML group and its divisions in meeting targets. Acts as a liaison between MML Group HR teams and Magna Corporate Systems Administrators to ensure ongoing continuous improvement of system effectiveness and the timely resolution of problems. Compiles, creates, and analyzes reports as necessary to support HR Programs and KPIs. Evaluates and interprets business and HR requirements in comparison to system functionality to assess and understand impacts of changes to other functional processes and downstream systems. Troubleshoot user issues through Matrix42 ticketing system and elevate to Magna Corporate Systems team as needed to resolve issues. Conducts system testing as needed when new configuration or system changes are rolled out. Assists with ongoing communication to end users regarding system updates / releases, as well as new functionality. Collects and analyzes data regarding user adoption and issues to identify opportunities for system improvements to maximize efficiency. Administers user access and security for HR systems as needed. Coordinates and facilitates delivery of end user training as necessary to support the effective application of HR systems at site level. Supports divisions in preparation and loading of Enterprise Interface Builder (EIBs) as required. Supports with additional HR system and program implementations and change management relative to new initiatives, as required. Stays up to date on the latest research to support the development and implementation of best-in-class HR systems and strategies. Upholds the principles of the Magna Employee’s Charter, Magna’s Operational Principles, Magna’s Environmental Health and Safety Policy & Procedures, MML Quality Policy, Program Execution Process and Business Protocols. HR ANALYTICS Compiles group-wide information and prepares reports and system analytics to support global HR Programs and People Metrics. Analyzes data from HR systems to assist Senior Management with strategic decisions. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Involvement in financial matters is on a level of providing data only and / or making recommendations. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY No direct supervision of incumbents and / or departments. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Magna’s policies and applicable laws. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources and / or HR Systems experience working within a progressive, fast-paced environment. Experience with Internet / Intranet (web-based) applications and excellent computer literacy and command of Microsoft Office. Experience in industrial manufacturing environment or Magna Operating Division within the HR function is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Confidence and flexibility to communicate concisely at all levels of the organization. Strong initiative; sense of ownership and responsibility toward work. Strong attention to detail and project management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of dealing with ambiguous situations & adapt to changing priorities Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to execute objectives timely and accurately.
