The Disability Data & Analysis team is seeking a naturally curious and analytically driven individual who can navigate complex data and uncover meaningful insights. Analyze, Report, and Present Disability Morbidity Results Deliver regular trending and variance analyses to support understanding of key disability morbidity KPIs Collaborate with Group Division partners to leverage multiple data sources and assess operational impacts on financial results Fulfill complex analytical requests from senior leadership, providing clear and actionable insights on business performance Disability Analytics Partner with business leaders to proactively identify opportunities for advanced analytics and data-driven solutions Plan, manage, and execute a range of analytical projects using strong project management practices Apply the analytics lifecycle to design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical models Enhance data quality by conducting data profiling and identifying gaps or inconsistencies in key data sources Insights and Storytelling Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights tailored to the audience Present findings, trends, and model performance to senior management, supporting informed decision-making What you bring 3+ years of experience in analytics, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making Post-secondary education with exposure to data science and/or statistical concepts Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access Experience with data tools such as SQL, Python/R, Power BI, or Tableau is considered an asset Knowledge of group insurance and disability products is an asset Experience in project planning and execution is an asset Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and presentation skills Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life. The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e., annual bonus, commission, etc.).
