This is a WORKING CHEF role, located at a remote fly‑in mining facility or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan. We cover the cost of your transportation, meals, and accommodations while at site. Shift work and compressed workweeks required; schedules are 2‑week in‑and‑out rotations with 11‑hour days. Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test. Who you are You are a passionate foodie and a strong team leader. You are a Red Seal Chef (preferably, not required). You pay attention to detail and have excellent time management. You go above and beyond to provide a great experience for our guests. What you will do Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team. Manage food costs and inventory. Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance. Job Requirements Experience with kitchen management within the service industry. Experience at remote sites such as mining facilities and exploration camps. Knowledge of vegan, halal, and gluten allergy variation cooking skills. Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Camp Manager programs. Valid driver’s license preferred. Current first responder certificate would be an asset.
