FNQLSDI activities are mainly in French End date  : March 31, 2028, with a possibility of extension   Your mandate  Work together to provide spaces for sharing, support, training, and mentorship to First Nations planning teams at every stage of their initiatives.  You will specifically: collaborate in the development and facilitation of activities for the Regional Circle on Indigenous Planning, co-create customized training and informational content, promote Indigenous planning to diverse audiences, support First Nations planning teams, and help showcase First Nations planning initiatives in Quebec and Labrador.  Our passionate team sees First Nations planning as a path toward self-determination, self-sufficiency, and healing. Does this resonate with you?  Main responsibilities  Identify the key characteristics of the project through an analysis of the needs and interests of First Nations, focusing on community priorities, anticipating risks, and leveraging opportunities  Develop a detailed work plan and timeline, and ensure they are followed by optimizing the use of available resources and tracking costs in accordance with established procedures  Carry out the project and ensure the progress of activities and the development of deliverables, while maintaining follow-up with partners (e.g., meetings, events, etc.)  Prepare regular progress reports on the project, presenting the results achieved and ensure effective once the project has been completed  Play an active role in the drafting process for project proposals and funding applications  Consistently deliver quality work, focusing on quality relationships and the achievement of results expected by our First Nations partners  Conduct ongoing information monitoring throughout the project    Do you have what it takes?  Meaningful experience collaborating with one or more First Nations  A combination of experience and/or training in one or more of the following fields: Indigenous, community, strategic, or land-use planning; land management and urban planning; Indigenous governance; Indigenous management; community or organizational development; geography, sociology, education, communications and community mobilization, First Nations cultures and languages  Be available to travel regularly across Quebec and to First Nations community  Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English  Strong adaptability, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively  Commitment to embody the following in your work: respect, circularity, well-being, self-determination  Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches (a major asset)  Knowledge of a First Nations language (a major asset)
