We are seeking experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisors to support a major turnaround project in Alberta. This role is critical to ensuring safe execution of turnaround activities, with a strong focus on high-risk work scopes and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site HSE support during turnaround operations Monitor and enforce compliance with safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations Conduct field-level risk assessments and hazard identification Support safe execution of high-risk activities, including: Confined space entry Energy isolation procedures Verify proper application of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) processes Lead and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigations Conduct regular site inspections and audits Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset among the workforce Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of safety activities and incidents Qualifications & Requirements Mandatory: Previous Turnaround (TA) experience Strong knowledge of: Confined space procedures Energy isolation practices Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems Demonstrated experience working in high-risk industrial environments Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night) in a dynamic, fast-paced setting Additional Information This is a project-based role supporting a critical turnaround Candidates must be comfortable working extended hours and in varying site conditions
