Here, you’ll find a growth‑oriented team dedicated to building world‑class apps and platforms, with opportunities to lead, mentor, and shape products at the forefront of vehicle technology.If you share our passion for ambitious challenges and inventive thinking, and you’re eager to help transform the way people engage with their vehicles, come join us in driving the future of connected mobility.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for extending and improving the Rivian and Volkswagen Group embedded infotainment platform (i.e., displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, media, app lifecycle, etc).Contribute to the software design and code reviews while collaborating with other developers on technical issues, design choices and decision making.Deploying and troubleshooting your solutions on a target vehicle or a hardware test bench.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent practical experience.Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions on time and with high level of quality.Working skills with C, C++, and Java.Experience with POSIX based embedded systems; Preferred Linux and Android.Familiarity with one or more technical areas such as displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, and Bluetooth.Preferred Qualifications:Comfortable working in an environment with sophisticated build systems and large code repositories.Experience building solutions with Android Automotive OS.Understanding of AOSP or FreeRTOS architectures.Preferred experience with low‑level interfaces typical of embedded systems such as I2C, SPI, GPIO, UART, USB, PCIe, SDIO, UFS, MDIO.Total Rewards Total compensation packages for full‑time positions include base salary, eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and eligibility for equity.In addition, our benefits package has been designed to support the health and wellness of our employees.
