The successful candidate will oversee projects and mentor junior staff while continuing to contribute directly to structural design, coordination, and technical problem‑solving. Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural design and project delivery for a variety of building projects including commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed‑use developments Oversee projects from conceptual design through construction administration and project close‑out Maintain and build strong client relationships through regular communication and project involvement Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers/designers within the structural team Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and contractor groups Participate in site reviews, construction meetings, and field coordination as required Provide technical guidance and contribute to overall project planning, scheduling, and quality control QualificationsDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering P.Eng designation or eligibility within Manitoba 8+ years of experience within consulting engineering/building design Strong experience with steel, concrete, wood, and foundation design for buildings projects Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit Strong communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor team members effectively What’s OfferedCompetitive compensation package Leadership opportunity with long‑term growth potential Diverse and technically challenging projects Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to remain technically involved while growing into a senior leadership role Please Note: Only candidates with consulting engineering experience in building design will be considered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
