The Nursing DNP Program at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full‑time Assistant Professor of Nursing—Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) position. This professional practice faculty role is responsible for developing and delivering the DNP nurse practitioner curriculum to students through hybrid teaching strategies, including online synchronous and asynchronous courses, clinical education, simulation, and labs. Faculty teaching responsibilities and meetings are scheduled to allow flexibility for continued clinical practice, leadership, scholarship, or other professional activities that enrich teaching and student mentorship. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in nursing Two years of clinical experience as an adult gerontological or family nurse practitioner Highly developed written and oral communication skills Current unencumbered RN and APRN licenses in Minnesota Current AGNP or FNP certification Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP, PhD) Experience with graduate‑level nursing education Experience teaching and mentoring diverse student populations Leadership experience in nursing education Compensation Annual wage is $82,500 – $88,500, depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
