The Solutions Architect will be responsible for overseeing the Private Banking domain end‑to‑end, creating solutions that align with current requirements and strategically support future state. In this role, you will: Prepare solution designs and estimate deliverables according to Scotiabank's policies, standards and templates based on business, project and systems specs Produce and maintain architectural and design documentation to support Private Banking business needs Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, and maintain different applications Closely work with business partners to align on immediate needs and future state requirements. Apply innovative approaches to developing process improvements and solutions Interact with stakeholders to collaborate, align and resolve issues Lead the team with a continuous improvement mindset, actively promote inclusivity and trust, encouraging an environment of curiosity and experimentation Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, regulatory requirements and industry best practices Act with urgency and criticality, evaluate blockers, identify actions, and assist the team to recommend/implement solutions Skills Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years architecture experience in creating and managing enterprise architectures and solutions Well‑versed in contemporary engineering practices such as cloud computing, microservices, CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps. Demonstrated success in delivering complex, highly available platforms serving customers. Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on‑premise to cloud migration deployments and roadmaps. Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global‑based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development. Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space. Outstanding communication, relationship management and problem‑solving skills. Skilled at balancing strategic vision with hands‑on execution What's in it for you?
