Job Description Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. This role is part of the technology team tasked with developing business critical technology solutions designed to automate manual processes. What You Will Do Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain software solutions for internal and external clients, focusing on automating business processes. Provide solution architecture, document design, code, program logic for new applications, analyze and modify logic in existing applications and ensure system improvements related to process automation are successfully implemented. Implement best practices of Agile and DevOps to deliver quality products predictably and consistently. Develop unit tests to ensure high‑quality code and be accountable for the quality of the product delivered. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Liaise with internal user groups to program applications based on business and system requirements. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of experience in web development, object‑oriented analysis and design, and service‑oriented architecture. Experience designing and developing web‑based platforms to automate business processes. Strong knowledge of modern automation architecture, technologies, and processes. Experience with automation platforms (Appian, RPA or similar). Hands‑on experience with Angular (TypeScript), JavaScript, Java, Hibernate, RESTful API, Spring Boot and creation of microservices. Knowledge of SQL and database platforms such as Oracle or SQL Server. Experience using Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated delivery pipelines CI/CD. Experience developing cloud‑native solutions according to industry best practices. Unix/Linux operating system knowledge. Assets Experience with cloud‑based applications on AWS. Wealth management, brokerage or financial services experience. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course. Education University degree or college diploma, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Compensation and Benefits Base salary and discretionary performance bonus with competitive annual range of $123,000 to $152,000, based on experience and qualifications. 100% remote, hybrid and in‑office options.
