Amazon is looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer II to join the Amazon Kids team in Toronto, Ontario.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with Product and Development teams to design and implement test strategies to deliver a quality consumer software productImplement test automation while driving processes to reduce manual test coverageDefine quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and overall software qualityEnsure products meet high standards of quality, performance, security and reliabilityHelp tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the Amazon Kids quality engineering teamHands‑on work with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, and implementing and maintaining high-quality test automation of both client and server systemsDevelop and maintain API automation tests using unit test frameworksBasic Qualifications3+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in automation testingExperience in manual testingExperience working as a Quality Assurance EngineerFluency in SQA methodology and toolsFluency with GenAI technologyHands‑on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testingExperience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologiesExperience with API automation testing including unit test frameworksBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product qualityStrong leadership, communication, and problem solving skillsKnowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnessesMaster's degreeCompensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $72,600 to $121,200 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign‑on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
