In this highly visible technical‑commercial role, you will work closely with customers, EPCs, and internal sales teams to deliver differentiated, value‑driven power system solutions, leveraging Schneider Electric’s full portfolio. You will play a critical role across the customer project lifecycle, from pre‑sales and specification through tendering, execution, and services, while positioning Schneider Electric as a digital partner in sustainability, efficiency, and electrification. Your impact In this role, you will: Shape solution strategy and architecture for complex power system projects Bring a strong technical voice into commercial discussions and negotiations Influence customer decisions by translating technical capabilities into business value Build trusted relationships across EPCs, end users, and key industry stakeholders What you will do Technical & Solution Leadership Support sales teams with power system design optimization and technical expertise Act as a subject matter expert for medium‑ and low‑voltage solutions Evaluate proposals, solution designs, product selections, and associated risks Support EPCs, specifiers, contractors, and end‑user teams throughout the project lifecycle Contribute to product roadmap discussions by providing market and customer feedback Commercial & Market Impact Develop and articulate compelling value propositions using commercial and financial insight Lead or support contract negotiations to secure winning outcomes Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline at pre‑feasibility and budget stages Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities Implement competitive sales strategies to win business in target segments Customer & Ecosystem Engagement Represent Schneider Electric at trade shows, seminars, working groups, and industry events Provide EPC coverage and technical leadership for the region Develop long‑term, trusted relationships within your assigned customer base Target segments You will primarily support customers in: MMM, WWW Buildings (Healthcare) Transportation Data Centers What will help you succeed Required Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical distribution (medium and low voltage projects) Strong capability in electrical distribution system design Proven commercial and technical expertise in MV/LV switchgear solutions Experience in the commercial and industrial construction sector Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills Strong collaboration, organization, and influencing abilities Willingness to travel up to 50% across Western Canada Assets Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation Experience with digitization, IoT, and integrated power solutions Ability to design end‑to‑end digital and electrical system solutions What's in it for you? Compensation for this full‑time position, which includes base pay and short‑term incentive, ranges from $129,600 to $172,800 for candidates who are B.C. residents. Salary determinations take into account several factors, including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
