Compensation A competitive compensation package is offered, including: Salary of $110,000 – $130,000 The Opportunity This is a high‑impact Program Manager opportunity for someone who understands how transportation, technology, process, and client relationships come together in a modern 4PL environment. The successful candidate will help manage global transportation programs across air, road, and ocean freight, with a focus on improving client satisfaction, strengthening process efficiency, and supporting scalable service delivery. They will be involved in client‑facing conversations, internal coordination, project delivery, process improvement, issue resolution, and financial tracking. The role suits a program leader who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, while keeping people aligned and projects moving. For someone with strong logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or technology‑enabled service experience, this is a chance to take ownership of meaningful work in a complex, fast‑moving environment. Position Description The Program Manager will oversee transportation‑related programs and help ensure that services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with client expectations. This includes managing project documentation, supporting implementation activity, monitoring deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and helping resolve issues before they slow progress. A major part of the role involves acting as a key connection point between internal teams, external partners, carriers, customers, and other stakeholders involved in the transportation process. From booking through payment, the Program Manager will help ensure that workflows are clear, timelines are understood, and the right people are engaged at the right time. The Program Manager – Freight Forwarding will be expected to lead change, communicate clearly, challenge processes when needed, and help transfer knowledge to internal teams so improvements are understood and adopted. Financial and operational accountability are also important. This includes tracking project‑related financials, monitoring budget versus actual resource usage, reporting on billings where applicable, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at a high standard of quality. Experience The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in program management, ideally connected to supply chain management, logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or technology‑enabled service environments. Experience managing projects from start to finish is important. This includes planning, documentation, stakeholder communication, change management, escalation, delivery tracking, and post‑implementation support. A background involving transportation optimization, international freight processes, client‑facing solution development, or complex operational programs would be highly valuable. Qualifications Proven ability to manage complex projects through initiation, execution, delivery, and follow‑up Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders in a deadline‑driven environment Understanding of transportation services across air, road, and ocean freight Ability to build productive relationships with customers, carriers, partners, and internal teams Strong organization, documentation, and follow‑through Analytical thinking and comfort working with operational and financial details Ability to anticipate issues, elevate appropriately, and help remove roadblocks Ability to work independently while contributing well in a team setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows‑based applications Additional language skills would be considered an asset Education A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
