The successful individual will provide solutions that meet client needs by administering a book of business with comprehensive knowledge of Marine Insurance products and policies. Work within a team environment contributing to personal and department sales objectives.# What You’ll Do* Administer a Personal Marine (Pleasurecraft) book of business, including Floating Homes — managing renewals, policy updates, client inquiries, and accounts receivable* Write new Pleasurecraft policies and identify cross-sell opportunities across personal lines products* Deliver knowledgeable policy and coverage guidance to clients, responding to inquiries with accuracy and professionalism* Represent HUB Coastal at external marketing events including boat shows and trade shows — coordinating logistics and attending as a brand ambassador for our personal marine products* Provide support and guidance to the Personal Insurance team, including branch staff, on marine-related products and processes* Perform other duties as assigned in support of the broader Personal Lines team# What You Bring* Level 2 General Insurance License* 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance* Marine experience preferred but willing to train* Boating knowledge & lifestyle an asset* Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly* Able to work independently and as part of a team* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)* EPIC experience an asset* Completion of industry-related designation (BCIT Insurance & Risk Management, CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc), or actively working on completion*The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
