This position is part of the Rotary and Mission Systems business area, where employees across Canada support engineering, systems integration, training, sustainment and in-service support programs for Canadian and international military customers across land, air and sea.Specific Job Description: The successful candidate will contribute to our River Class Destroyer (RCD) project as a member of our Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Cross Product Team (CPT):Development, review & delivery of the Integrated Communication System (ICS) shore-based (Land Based Test Site (LBTS)/ Land Based Test Facility (LBTF)) Test and Trials (T&T)Development, review and delivery of the IC shipboard T&TCreation of the Integrated Test, Evaluation & Acceptance Plan, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), Test Plans, and Test ProceduresSupport planning and the execution of the IC SFirst Article Acceptance Testing (FAAT)Act as liaison between the Lockheed Martin Canada inc. (Lockheed Martin) IT&E team and vendor/partner organizations to maintain program prioritiesSupport the identification and resolution of issues so as to minimize risk to the test scheduleWork closely with key stakeholders to effectively manage and coordinate IC S build dates and build testing.Required skills, qualifications and experience:Bachelor’s degree\diploma from an accredited institution in an engineering discipline and 5+ years’ experience, or a master’s degree in an engineering discipline and 3+ years' experienceExperience with naval or defence communication systemsExperience working within a team of diverse skillsetsMust have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environmentMust have a high degree of initiative and autonomyMust be able to obtain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance in a timely manner.Desired skills, qualifications and experience:Trials writing experienceExperience with combat systems in the naval domainExperience with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)Experience with Agile Scrum methodologyFamiliarity with Hardware/Software development and testFamiliarity with Microsoft Office suiteFamiliarity with LinuxFamiliarity with JIRA and Windchill an asset#J-18808-Ljbffr
