Responsibilities: Provide clerical/administrative support to Fire Base such as word processing, filing, compiling data, record keeping, bill payments and invoice processing. Provide human resource information and direction to employees, i.e. attendance/time certificates, benefits and entitlements. Provide administration for Emergency Fire Personnel and other duties as assigned. Acquiring commissary and groceries to support district fire operations. Work extended hours, weekends and travel to remote locations; may be required to work for up to 12 days in a row and temporarily assigned to other locations in the province; may also be required to fly in a small aircraft or helicopter. Qualifications: Completed a health evaluation according to SPSA policies/guidelines. Possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s License. Knowledge of computer programs such as word processing, Excel spreadsheets, internet, e-mail systems. Familiarity with office equipment including computers, photocopiers and fax machines. Knowledge of office duties including reception, filing, answering telephones, public inquiries, and correspondence.
