Snow School Desk Manager Position Overview The Snow School Desk Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day success of the Snow School operation. This position is responsible for leading the Snow School Desk team, coordinating lesson bookings, and ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient, and professional service. The Snow School Desk Manager works closely with instructors, supervisors, and other resort departments to maintain smooth operations and a positive guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while supporting both guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the Snow School Desk Supervise and support Snow School Desk staff Coordinate lesson bookings and instructor assignments based on guest needs and availability Provide support in resolving guest concerns and service issues Monitor incoming calls, emails, and in-person guest inquiries Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Snow School products, rentals, lift tickets, and resort services Assist with staff scheduling and daily coverage planning Ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting procedures Collaborate with Snow School Supervisors and other departments to support operations Assist with staff training Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming guest service environment Communicate daily updates, promotions, and operational changes to staff Support operational planning during busy periods and peak season Perform additional duties as required Leadership & Team Support Provide guidance and support to Snow School Desk team members Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture Assist with staff development and performance feedback Help ensure consistent service standards are maintained Qualifications & Experience Previous guest service or hospitality experience required Supervisory or leadership experience considered an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsComfortable working with booking systems and computer software Cash handling experience preferred Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ski resort or Snow School experience considered an asset Additional languages are an asset Working Environment This position operates in a fast-paced guest service environment and requires flexibility in scheduling. Work hours may include weekends, holidays, and peak operational periods throughout the winter season.
