PROCUREMENT STUDENT – SOLAR DISTRICT Role: Procurement Student – Solar District (8‑16 months, starting September 2026)Location: Oakville, Ontario RESPONSIBILITIES Co‑ordinate and manage project design and procurement processes, including detailed meeting minutes and follow‑ups on open items. Review RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, and specifications for key project requirements. Facilitate communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders using PM4+ for RFIs and submittals. Assist with material take‑offs, quantity optimisation, and pricing compilation and recaps; streamline processes by converting Excel tools into standard Solar templates. Develop and maintain PM4+ procurement dashboards; draft purchase orders and coordinate with estimators and schedulers to ensure budget compliance and delivery timelines. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Develop and maintain strong customer‑focused relationships with all stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS Strong desire to work in a solar pre‑construction function. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Superior attention to detail. Proficient in AutoCAD and common office applications (Word, Excel). Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is a plus. SALARY Estimated salary range: $21.37 – $31.34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
