The National Account Manager - Walmart is a high-impact member of the Jazwares sales team, responsible for a diverse portfolio of world‑class brands. Your mission is to drive profitable growth across the account in line with both Jazwares’ corporate vision and Walmart’s strategic objectives. This role will serve as a key architect of the Walmart relationship, liaising with the wider team including Ops & Logistics, BI, Finance, Brand, and Marketing to deliver our products to the world’s largest retailer. This role provides the opportunity to take full ownership of end‑to‑end processes in a supportive, collaborative environment that prioritizes innovation and operational efficiency. What You Will Do Account Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for Walmart, maintaining end‑to‑end ownership of forecasting, execution, and P&L performance. Joint Business Planning: Develop and negotiate annual business plans that align Jazwares’ long‑term goals with Walmart’s corporate strategies (EDLP, Sustainability, and Growth). Strategic Ranging: Tailor product ranging and promotional suggestions to maximize placement for new and existing brands, ensuring Everyday Low Price integrity. Omnichannel Excellence: Manage distribution, pricing, and shelving objectives across both brick‑and‑mortar and Walmart’s digital shelf (Pickup & Delivery). Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner with Jazwares’ Supply‑Demand Planning and Ops teams to ensure volumes align with agreed forecasts and consistent stock flow. Data‑Driven Influence: Leverage Retail Link and Walmart Luminate to build conceptual presentations for buyers, licensors, and internal stakeholders. Compliance & Reliability: Monitor weekly reporting summaries and track key Walmart metrics, specifically OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full) performance. Brand Advocacy: Share our corporate vision and passion for our brands at industry events and during key line reviews. Perform all other duties as assigned. Manages People: No What We Are Looking For 5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of managing major retail relationships and meeting/exceeding quotas. Direct experience with Walmart Buyer/Vendor Manager relationships and a deep understanding of their unique business cycle. Advanced proficiency in Retail Link is required. Must be comfortable with Excel, G‑Suite. Ability to translate POS data into actionable insights. Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence high‑level decision‑makers. A self‑starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and pivot quickly as retail priorities shift. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build professional relationships across all levels. Collaborative, cross‑functional team player with a growth‑oriented mindset. Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities. Adaptable in fast‑paced environments; able to manage shifting priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), G‑Suite, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight). Strong customer service, negotiation, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the toy, baby, costume, or pet industries is highly desirable. Prior experience with Retail Link and modular (planogram) development. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or an industry‑relevant field is a plus. What We Offer The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi‑location employer, so the salary range may not apply to other location. Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes a Monday through Thursday on‑site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and time off for vacation and sick leave. Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
