Your future role on our team Type of position: Regular BBA is seeking a Senior Landscape Architecture Professional to join its Quebec team. As part of our continued growth and the recent integration of Synergis, a firm well‑known for its strong landscape architecture expertise and highly qualified teams, we are further strengthening our ability to provide high‑quality and fully integrated solutions to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing and executing projects or project components effectively, while ensuring quality and meeting client expectations. You’ll need to understand the client's objectives, prepare proposals for the services required to achieve those objectives, and oversee and carry out the required activities, i.e. site data analysis, landscape design, construction plans and specifications, cost estimates, technical support during calls for tenders, construction oversight and final project approval. Responsibilities Plan production: Analyze project needs, define objectives, develop timelines, set budgets and identify potential solutions Organize human and material resources: Define tasks, allocate workloads and identify the materials needed Lead effectively: Ensure tasks are carried out, motivate the team, ensure clear communication and make necessary adjustments, as needed Supervise team members in an advisory role, set and monitor objectives and deadlines, take corrective action, when needed, and provide feedback after project completion (post‑mortem) Manage and coordinate projects (schedule, budget, quality, OHS, compliance with regulations and client requirements) Manage human resources (advisory role, interest, training, qualification, performance assessment, discipline management, etc.) Train team members in specific areas (landscape studies, human environments, visual assessments and integration of future facilities into surrounding areas, visual simulation, etc.) Support department members in acquiring expertise in landscape studies, human environments, visual assessments and integration Set objectives for team members Manage the team's material resources Communicate and ensure compliance with corporate policies (HR, OHS and finance) Review the design, construction plans and specifications and any other documents before sending them to the client Review reports, methodology, relevance of analysis and results Follow up with clients during project execution Sign and seal project documents and send them to clients Maintain strong client relationships Qualities and values that match our corporate culture Entrepreneurial spirit Client‑oriented Results‑driven Thirst to learn and excel Inspirational leadership Constantly seeking sustainable and agile solutions Caring mindset that puts people first Managerial courage Ability to share and pass on knowledge Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture Over 10 years of experience in similar positions Member of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ) Expertise in urban, recreational and natural design as well as landscape and environmental impact assessments Excellent written and spoken communication skills (for public presentations, municipal hearings, BAPE, AEIC) Autonomy, versatility, creativity and initiative Strong interest in environmental and social issues Project management skills and ability to manage several projects at once Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec.
