We are looking for a Python / React Developer for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal Role Overview : The primary mission of the team is to provide (and maintain) a web application for control/supervision/first line of defense and reporting to Trading desk managers as part of the implementation of regulator recommendations. Key Responsibilities Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Participate in the maintenance (support, development) of current tools (CI/CD, Unit Testing). Participate in the development of Web tools (React/Python/ELK Stack/SQL). Work as part of a team using Agile practices and collaborate with product owners. Maintain strong relationships with all requested departments and users Requirements Experience with relational databases (such as MS SQL) Good knowledge of version control systems, especially with platforms like GitHub or GitLab and issue tracking system (JIRA for Scrum boards) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment Language: Fluent in English, French is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
