FedEx is looking for a GTS Broker to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position open exclusively to permanent YYZR GTS employees. General Summary: To perform duties relevant to the processing of low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with Canadian Customs and other government departments regulations and legislation. To provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring international shipment information. Primary focus of this role is on commercial shipments. Responsibilities Process low value shipment (LVS) entries in compliance with Canadian Customs regulations and government department requirements Assist customers with accurate information regarding international shipment requirements and customs procedures Maintain CCS (Canadian Customs Specialist) designation and complete annual re-currency points Utilize customs clearance systems and Microsoft Excel to manage shipment data Perform alphanumeric data entry at a minimum of 25 wpm Apply strong mathematical aptitude to ensure accuracy in customs calculations and documentation Requirements Post-secondary education: Community College Diploma or equivalent Canadian Customs Specialist (CCS) or CSCB qualification — completed certification required Minimum one year of experience with basic knowledge of Canadian Customs Regulations related to International Operations (FedEx experience preferred) Knowledge of customs clearance systems preferred Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel Minimum 25 wpm on data entry alphanumeric testing Good mathematical and computer aptitude Note: This is a LOCAL POST, available ONLY for permanent YYZR GTS employees.
