Job Overview We are seeking a hands‑on, mid‑level Project Manager to lead maintenance and facilities‑related projects supporting our manufacturing and engine MRO operations in Montréal. This position centers on the hands‑on execution of maintenance and equipment‑related projects within an active manufacturing environment. It is ideal for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing who enjoys working closely with operations and coordinating practical, on‑site activities. The role also involves close collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities, and Production teams to ensure successful project delivery. The scope is operational and execution‑driven, involving equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and reliability‑focused initiatives. Responsibilities Manage maintenance and facilities projects from planning to completion. Coordinate initiatives such as equipment repairs, overhauls, and replacements, industrial maintenance upgrades, facility infrastructure improvements (electrical, mechanical, utilities, HVAC), and reliability and asset improvement projects. Develop clear project schedules, track milestones, and monitor budgets. Ensure minimal disruption to production activities. Identify risks early and implement practical mitigation plans. Oversee contractors, vendors, and internal technical teams. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. Support procurement of project‑related materials and services. Maintain clear documentation of scope, progress, and project close‑out. Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to align project timelines with operational needs. Provide regular progress updates to Operations leadership. Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance project processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related technical field. 3–5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment. Practical experience in industrial maintenance operations, equipment installation or overhaul, facility improvement projects. Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and contractor supervision. Strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in French and English is required (spoken and written). PMP certification is an asset but not required. Engineering license (OIQ) is an asset but not mandatory.
