What is the opportunity? The T&O Digital Operations Technology team is searching for a Senior Delivery Manager to lead Agile and Agile hybrid projects in the Operations Technology domain space. You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile organization that showcases the collective power of teamwork every single day. From delivering enhancements, to executing on BAU deliverables, to driving business value and efficiency within RBC, this role will help bring to life new agentic capabilities which allow Operations teams across the enterprise to deliver the best in‑class customer experience. Responsibilities Remove impediments to deliver outcomes and results through proactive management of internal and external dependencies, critical thinking/problem solving, and development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges. Manage one or more agile squads, setting and facilitating squad ceremonies and cadence of work. Monitor team pace and efficiency, facilitating improvements and ensuring management of scope, quality and deliverables alongside other squad team members. Manage team budgets and resource planning to stay within planned budget amounts with regular reporting. Facilitate team workshops, regular team ceremonies and other activities alongside the broader team including developers, testers and product owners. Promote and drive an Agile Mindset (Drive Business Value, Deliver in Iterations, Collaboration). Support governance and mandatory activities with the development cycle including implementation activities and artifacts. Navigate and identify shared technology services required by the team in the delivery of its objectives. Facilitate discussion leading to collective decision‑making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team. Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues. Facilitate and engage in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influence. Communicate cross‑functionally, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes; report team progress and accomplishment up and across; facilitate status updates (including project financials and running concurrent projects under a fast‑paced work environment) and retrospectives. Communicate and work in a cross‑functional team that will consist of RBC business and technology partners, and possibly third‑party partners. Must‑have Certified Scrum Master/Agile Practitioner. 7+ years of experience in software development project/program delivery within an Agile environment (medium‑to‑large scale initiatives), using influence to facilitate outcomes. Ability to listen, communicate clearly and concisely with confidence, and demonstrate ability to influence others. Ability to apply well‑documented Agile techniques (User Stories, Burndown techniques, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous testing, etc.). Able to effectively prioritize own workload and focus across many streams of work. Proactively work with other IT and/or Business teams across the organization. Nice‑to‑have Banking experience (a strong plus). Project financials management. Knowledge of RBC’s technology environment and processes. What’s in it for you?
