No option to work remotely. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Anticipated Shift: Full Time; days, early mornings, mornings, evenings, nights, on call, weekends. Daily Hours Worked: 30 to 40 hours per week. Position Type: Fee for service. Wage Rate: Compensation is fee‑for‑service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates. Benefits are not provided but may be purchased if desired. Position Summary Minnedosa Health Centre is a 27‑bed acute care and 50‑bed long‑term care facility offering General Surgery, Diagnostic, Emergency, Public Health, Mental Health, Home Care, and Respite. Prairie Mountain Health seeks a Family Physician to join the Centre. Duties: perform all duties of a family practice, diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on‑call schedule and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues. Requirements Doctor of Medicine degree. Current licensure or eligibility for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Member of CMPA or proof of equivalent malpractice insurance. Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population. Demonstrated ability to meet physical and mental demands of the job. Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality (paper, electronic formats). Good work and attendance record. Experience And Specialization Specialization: Family Physician. Security and Safety Maintain satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate.
