This position supports and enhances enterprise applications by applying analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and clear communication.Working closely with business and IT teams, the role contributes to both operational support and project initiatives across applications and systems. It requires the ability to understand how systems function, how they support end-to-end processes, and how to translate technical concepts into practical insights for stakeholders.As a key team member, the Senior Technical Analyst collaborates with internal teams and external partners to support and improve integrated solutions. The role is responsible for helping ensure applications are stable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.What You'll DoProvide senior-level technical and functional support for Maintenance and Reliability applicationsSupport both operational sustainment and project delivery initiativesPartner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutionsDesign, enhance, and support integrations between enterprise and third-party systemsOversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancementsTroubleshoot and resolve complex application, interface, and data issuesDefine and document solution architectures, data flows, and business rulesEnsure compliance with security, governance, and architectural standardsOwn end-to-end problem management, including root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of preventive fixes to reduce repeat incidentsParticipate in application-level disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testingSupport data quality, alerting, and analytics outputs for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions in partnership with site stakeholdersCoordinate closely with vendors and managed service providers to diagnose issues, manage escalations, and drive resolutionContribute to testing activities (unit, integration, regression, UAT support) for application changes and enhancementsMentor junior analysts and contribute to improved application sustainment standards and practicesWhat You'll Bring6–8 years of experience in IT technical analysis or application supportWorking knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure supporting business applications, including databases, operating systems, and virtualization platformsUnderstanding of network fundamentals across IT and OT environments, including how applications interact with plant systems, firewalls, and segmented networksAbility to assess how hardware capacity, performance, and availability considerations impact application stability, scalability, and recoveryFamiliarity with on-prem and cloud deployment models (IaaS / PaaS), including how applications are hosted, secured, monitored, and recoveredExperience supporting and troubleshooting multi-tier application architectures, including presentation, middleware, integration, and data layersAbility to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, cloud, network, and security teams to troubleshoot cross-stack issuesDegree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related fieldStrong SQL skills (SQL Server and Oracle), including performance tuningUnderstanding of hybrid architectures and cloud deployments (AWS preferred)Experience supporting predictive maintenance or advanced analytics solutionsStrong understanding of ERP data flows and integrationsDeep knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshootingPreferred / Asset QualificationsExperience with SAP PM and/or Oracle EAMExperience with XMPro, AspenTech Mtell, GE Digital, OSI PI, Meridian, or similar toolsHands‑on experience integrating data from multiple sourcesExposure to maintenance and reliability business processesExperience working with vendors in enterprise environmentsCompetencies & Personal AttributesExceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and systematic problem-solving abilityAbility to translate loosely defined issues into structured solutionsStrong collaboration and teamwork skillsDetail-oriented with a high standard of accuracyNutrien is an equal opportunity employer.
