Job Summary Reporting to the Divisional Merchandise Director, the Junior Product Manager will provide leadership and product line management for all aspects of the merchandising process. Working cross-functionally in different teams, the Junior Product Manager will successfully develop, design, and manage merchandise to drive a product line that meets business objectives and supports the company’s long-term vision. Main Responsibilities Drive current/future growth of the department through the development of merchandise assortments; Develop a successful track record by consistently delivering on or above target results to plan; Implement creative and innovative strategies to drive the business plan; Understand and analyze market trends and competitor activity to enhance customer focus and develop innovative ideas; Manage OTB to drive and build business strategies; Collaborate with the Planning team to manage the OTB including receipts, sales, margin, markdowns, and weeks of stock; Lead and oversee the line planning, pricing, and product development process including style and color planning, as well as sizing strategy; Analyze performance and plans to help identify sales and margin opportunities, driving results that exceed targets; Continuously strive to provide trend-right products customers and drive department growth through assortment planning; Quickly adapt to business and marketplace changes and trends; Lead business meetings effectively and efficiently, while communicating, influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams to drive execution of the vision; Collaborate with the Visual team and ongoing management in the development and execution of floor sets. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in fashion buying and/or fashion product management; Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends; Strong product knowledge and a balanced combination of analytical and creative abilities to positively impact the bottom line; Strong financial acumen and analytical skills; Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec; Proven planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy; Strong teamwork abilities and leadership skills; Good computer skills (Excel and/or equivalent software systems); In-depth understanding of our brand and its target market.
