As a national leader in the supply of smallwares and equipment, United Trimen is looking for a Project Manager to support the maintenance and growth of projects based business. Based at our Head office at United Trimen Toronto, this position will report to the Sales Supervisor. The position requires one to plan, execute, and finalize projects and adhere to strict deadlines and approved budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan, as well as a passion and vision to be part of the company’s long term growth. Location The successful candidate will be required to travel to the North York office four days per week. The salary range for this position is $75 000 - $95 000 Duties and Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams Manage projects from start to finish in alignment with business goals Define project scope, goals, timelines, resources, and budgets Plan, schedule, and track project milestones and deliverables Communicate expectations and provide regular status updates to stakeholders Identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and scope changes Coordinate resources and negotiate support with internal departments as needed Lead, coach, and motivate project teams and contractors Monitor performance and ensure accountability Conduct post-project reviews and implement best practices Represent United Trimen professionally in all internal and external interactions Qualifications Ability to review and disseminate info from blueprints and CAD drawings Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing complexities and resolve issues Versed in various construction methods and food service related codes Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Demonstrated Sales (inside or outside) and/or Customer Care experience. Knowledge of restaurant equipment (prior foodservice experience is an asset) Effective communication in an open and direct manner; conveys information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong listening skills; Understand and reflect accurately on the message. Team player; actively participates to create and execute on team goals.
