Position Summary Our client is seeking a hands‑on Human Resources Generalist to lead and manage the day‑to‑day HR function across the organization. This is a standalone HR role best suited for someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and balancing both strategic and administrative HR responsibilities. You will work closely with leadership while independently managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy development, compliance, payroll coordination, and workplace initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can confidently prioritize competing demands, and enjoys building structure and process improvements within a growing business. Key Responsibilities Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Experience Lead full‑cycle recruitment, candidate screening, and onboarding activities Support employee retention and engagement initiatives Coordinate training, onboarding, and employee development activities Support company‑wide communications, wellness initiatives, and social events Employee Relations & Performance Management Provide guidance to employees and leadership on HR policies and procedures Support employee relations matters, coaching conversations, and workplace concerns Manage performance management processes, progressive discipline, and performance improvement plans Foster a positive, collaborative, and compliant workplace culture HR Operations & Compliance Develop, maintain, and administer HR policies, procedures, and documentation Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation, ESA, and OHSA requirements Maintain HR records, onboarding documentation, organizational charts, and employee files Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation processes Organizational Support Partner closely with leadership on workforce planning and organizational initiatives Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives as needed Act as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day HR operations across the business Qualifications 3‑5 years of hands‑on HR experience in a Generalist capacity Previous standalone HR experience strongly preferred CHRP designation and/or post‑secondary education in Human Resources Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Highly self‑directed with the ability to manage competing priorities independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems What’s Offered Extended Health & Dental Benefits Opportunity to own and shape the HR function Direct partnership with leadership Collaborative and growing team environment If you are an HR professional looking for an opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact while operating with autonomy and ownership, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
